Phase I: Conduct Focus Groups

Randomly selected parents, community members, staff, and students were asked to participate in focus groups to gather perceptions, values, and aspirations. The results of the focus groups will assist in the development of a comprehensive survey tool.

Phase II: Survey Parents/Community Members

Every parent and community member will be asked to fill out a comprehensive survey. The survey will be online, in the April edition of the “Appleseed”, and available at all of the district’s school buildings. The anonymous survey will be tabulated, analyzed, and reported. The findings will help drive the district’s long-range plan.

Phase III: Survey Staff/Select Students

Every staff member and selected groups of students will contribute to an online survey. The anonymous survey will be tabulated, analyzed, and reported. The findings will help drive the district’s long-range plan.

Phase IV: Data Drives Vision/Strategic Plan

Phase I, II, and III data, growth projections, student achievement data, school improvement plans, and historical information will be formally presented before the Board of Education and administrative team. This data will drive the strategic plan which will be developed over the summer of 2023.
