Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE)
ECSE provides a classroom experience for children who display a significant delay in one or more areas of development as determined through an evaluation conducted by a diagnostic team. Children in the program receive special instruction from certified special education teachers and therapists in some or all of the following ways:
- speech and language therapy
- occupational therapy
- physical therapy
- social work
- home visits
- sensory motor room
- playground with adapted equipment
