Early Release on Friday, September 26
The district's first Early Release Friday is scheduled for Friday, September 26. The 4 Year old FREE preschool program with Mrs. Care, Miss Ritsema, and Mrs. Warner will release at 12:00 p.m. PK-5th grade students will be dismissed at 12:15 p.m. The Full Day preschool classrooms with childcare will remain open for their regular hours, 6:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m.
If your child normally uses after school care on Friday afternoons, your child is automatically enrolled to attend care on all Early Release Fridays, unless other arrangements have been made.
There will be a one-time Early Release charge to cover all Early Release Fridays for the 2025/2026 school year. Watch for this one-time charge on your tuition statement in late October. Please note that if Friday after school care is part of your normal schedule, charges are incurred regardless of attendance.
School Lunch Changes
Beginning October 1, 2025, the cost of a school lunch will be $3.00 per meal (now $2.50 per meal). Some of you may have received an email from our Superintendent with this information. If not, you may view that email by clicking here: School Meals Update 9-11-25.
This change comes as part of a district-wide adjustment within the Hudsonville/Jenison food program. While meal prices have remained stable over the years, the rising costs of food and supplies have made an update necessary. As a member of the Hudsonville Public System, our school will align with this new pricing.
