Early Release on Friday, September 20, for PK-5th Grade Students; Non-School Day, Oct. 21 / Non-School Day Notes; 2024-2025 ECC Calendar

Early Release on Friday, September 20, for PK-5th Grade Students

The district's first Early Release Friday is scheduled for Friday, September 20.  PK-5th grade students will be dismissed at 12:15 p.m. The Full Day preschool classrooms will remain open for their regular hours, 6:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m., and GSRP will dismiss at 1:30 p.m. as usual.

If your child normally uses after school care on Friday afternoons, your child is automatically enrolled to attend care on all Early Release Fridays, unless other arrangements have been made.

There will be a one-time Early Release charge to cover all Early Release Fridays for the 2024/2025 school year.  Watch for this one-time charge on your tuition statement in October.  Please note that if Friday after school care is part of your normal schedule, charges are incurred regardless of attendance.

Non-School Day, October 21 / Non-School Day Notes

Our first non-school day is coming up on Monday, October 21.  Hudsonville Public Schools will be closed that day, but the ECC will be open for the following programs:

  • Full Day Preschool
  • Before/After School Care (care at the ECC only).  All other programs will be closed.

Full Day Preschool and Before/After School Care families will receive an email the week of September 30 to inquire about attendance on October 21, as well as future snow days.

Please review the Non-School Day Notes for tuition-related questions regarding attendance on non-school days.  There is a $55.00 charge for the before/after school students to attend on a non-school day, and your account will be charged the difference of $55.00 and your normal daily rate.
