All programs will be closed on Friday, May 27, and Monday, May 30, in observance of Memorial Day.
Program End Dates
It's hard to believe we're nearing the end of the year! Program end dates are as follows:
- ECSE: Tuesday, June 7
- Full Day Preschool; PK; Before/After School Care: Wednesday, June 8
Summer Program Start Date
The summer program starts on Tuesday, June 14. Please note that there is no programming available from Thursday, June 9-Monday, June 13.
Free Meals to End June 8, 2022
We have been very fortunate to participate in a food service program that provided free meals to all students during the 2020/2021 and 2021/2022 school years through federal waivers from the USDA. However, these waivers were not renewed and as of June 9, 2022, this free food service program will end and parents will need to purchase hot lunch at a cost of $2.50 per meal. Families are encouraged to complete a Free and Reduced Lunch Application for assistance in paying for lunch.
Please plan accordingly to make sure that your child has money in their lunch account at the ECC if your child will be getting hot lunch during our summer program. Summer hot lunch payments must be made by cash or check made payable to "Community Ed Food Service" or "Hudsonville Food Service'" and can be dropped off at the ECC main lobby in the "Lunch" drop box. Unfortunately, online payments are not available during the summer.
Hearing and Vision Screening
All students entering PK and K will need a hearing and vision screening completed prior to starting school in the Fall of 2022. You may schedule a screening with the Ottawa County Health Department by calling 616-396-5266. Screenings are by appointment only.
