Early Release on Friday, May 6, for PK-5th Grade Students
Early Release Friday is scheduled for Friday, May 6. All PK-5th grade students will be dismissed at 12:15 p.m. The Full Day preschool classrooms will remain open with the same hours, 6:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m.
If your child normally uses after school care on Friday afternoons, your child is automatically enrolled to attend care on all Early Release Fridays.

Half Day Preschool:

Great Start Readiness Preschool: Thursday, May 12

All Programs Closed May 27; May 30
All programs will be closed on Friday, May 27, and Monday, May 30, in observance of Memorial Day.
Summer Program Start Date
The summer program starts on Tuesday, June 14. Please note that there is no programming available from Thursday, June 9-Monday, June 13.
Free Meals to End June 8, 2022
We have been very fortunate to participate in a food service program that provided free meals to all students during the 2020/2021 and 2021/2022 school years through federal waivers from the USDA. However, these waivers were not renewed and as of June 9, 2022, this free food service program will end and parents will need to purchase hot lunch at a cost of $2.50 per meal. Families are encouraged to complete a Free and Reduced Lunch Application for assistance in paying for lunch.
Please plan accordingly to make sure that your child has money in their lunch account at the ECC if your child will be getting hot lunch during our summer program.
Hearing and Vision Screening
All students entering PK and K will need a hearing and vision screening completed prior to starting school in the Fall of 2022. You may schedule a screening with the Ottawa County Health Department by calling 616-396-5266. Screenings are by appointment only.
