Early Release on Friday, November 12, for PK-5th Grade Students
Early Release Friday is scheduled for Friday, November 12. All PK-5th grade students will be dismissed at 12:15 p.m. The Full Day preschool classrooms will remain open with the same hours, 6:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m.
If your child normally uses after school care on Friday afternoons, your child is automatically enrolled to attend care on all Early Release Fridays.
All Programs Closed for Thanksgiving Break
Please note that ALL programs will be CLOSED for the Thanksgiving break on the following days:
- Wednesday, November 24
- Thursday, November 25
- Friday, November 26
Parent-Teacher Conferences/Half Day Preschool Closed
Our tuition-based half-day preschool program (Mrs. Cash, Mrs. H, and Mrs. P) will be holding parent-teacher conferences on Monday and Tuesday, November 22 and 23. Therefore, the half-day preschool program will be CLOSED.
Upcoming Open/Closed Dates in December
Hudsonville Public Schools is closed for the holiday break from December 20-December 31. During this closure, Full Day Preschool and PK-5th Grade Before/After School Care students will have the option to attend full day childcare at the Early Childhood Center on the following days:
- Monday, December 20
- Tuesday, December 21
- Wednesday, December 22
- Monday, December 27
- Tuesday, December 28
- Wednesday, December 29
Care will be offered at the Early Childhood Center from 7:45 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (please note open/closed times).
All programming will be closed on the following days:
- Thursday, December 23
- Friday, December 24
- Thursday, December 30
- Friday, December 31

Non-School Day Notes
A "non-school day" is a scheduled day off for the district, including teacher trainings, holiday break, winter break, and spring break. An unexpected "non-school day" could occur for a snow day or fog-related delay. Information relating to unexpected non-school days will be included in the Hudsonville Public School closing information, the Early Childhood parent blog, and WOTV 8.
To view what programs are open/closed on non-school days, please review our Non-School Day Notes very carefully as program start and end times vary. The programs that remain open on non-school days will provide care at the Early Childhood Center only, with programming starting at 7:45 a.m.
Please also review the Non-School Day Notes for tuition-related questions regarding attendance on non-school days. There is a $45.00 charge for the before/after school students to attend on a non-school day, and your account will be charged the difference of $45.00 and your normal daily rate.
