Mental Health Therapy

Mental health therapists are serving at Hudsonville Public Schools to promote student well-being, enhance family connections, coordinate community services, and provide support in crisis situations. Our primary objective is to promote students' self-awareness, grow self-regulation skills, and improve overall mental health.

Our services may include:

  • Conducting individual therapeutic sessions for students facing barriers to accessing services from a clinician and experiencing mental health challenges
  • Leading small group interventions based on identified needs determined by PBIS Tier II Teams or Child Study Teams
  • Responding to emergency and crisis events as needed
  • Facilitating community connections for individual students and families
  • Partnering with and making referrals to community agencies when appropriate
