Greg Chanski

I have lived in the Hudsonville area for the past 30 years.  My wife and I are the parents of three grown children and five grandchildren.  Three of my grandkids are attending Hudsonville Public Schools.  I believe the school board's job is to make policy and set the direction for the superintendent. The role of a Board member has changed from rubber stamping educational programs and taking care of facility needs to closely monitoring and reviewing the new programs being proposed and the long term effect those programs have on the educational development of our students.  The chief role of the school is to educate children. I will work hard to support our administration, principals, teachers and all other employees as they seek to follow the direction set by the School Board. I am thankful to the Lord for the opportunity to work for the good of all the children of Hudsonville.
