What we do: School-based occupational therapists help students participate successfully in their educational environment. They support the development of skills needed for learning and school activities, including fine motor skills, handwriting, self-care, sensory processing, attention, organization, and the use of classroom tools and technology. Occupational therapists collaborate with teachers, families, and other school staff to promote student independence, access to the curriculum, and meaningful participation in school routines and activities.
