"Scheherazade Op. 35" presented by Hudsonville High School

Hudsonville High School proudly presents Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov's masterpiece Scheherazade Op. 35 in it's complete form as arranged by Adam Davis. This one-night only, symphonic concert will be an unforgettable, multi-sensory expierence.

Scheherazade is a musical interpretation of the middle eastern folktales compiled in One Thousand and One Nights, also known as The Arabian Nights.

When the house doors open, the audiance will join students from the Wind Symphony, and Symphony and Chamber Orchestras. Under the direction of Craig VanderWall and Adam Davis, the combined Full Orchestra will perform all four movements of the piece. In between movements, students from the Drama program will present a short visual representation of the story depicted in the subsequent musical movement. An interactive digital program will feature student-written interpretations of the stories from the Creative Writing classes.

Tickets for Scheherazade Op. 35 will be available online and at the door.
