Hudsonville High School proudly presents Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov's masterpiece Scheherazade Op. 35 in it's complete form as arranged by Adam Davis. This one-night only, black-tie symphonic concert will be an unforgettable, multi-sensory expierence.

Scheherazade is a musical interpretation of the middle eastern folktales compiled in One Thousand and One Nights, also known as The Arabian Nights.

The evening will begin in the Commons at the Hudsonville Freshman Campus where white gloved students from the Culinary Arts program will serve hors d'oeuvres while audiance members view art installations depicting the four movements created by students from the Visual Arts and Interior Design programs. When the house doors open, the audiance will transition into the Fine Arts Auditorium where students from the Wind Symphony and Chamber Orchestra will take the stage together as a full orchestral ensemble. Under the direction of Craig VanderWall and Adam Davis, the combined Full Orchestra will perform all four movements. In between movements, students from the Drama program will present a short visual representation of the story depicted in the subsequent musical movement.

Tickets for Scheherazade Op. 35 will be available online and at the door. Formal attire is strongly encouraged at this event.
