Get To Know Your Coach

As we roll into our final sport season of the year, Coach Miedema is eagerly preparing for 7th and 8th grade Boys Tennis. This is a non-cut sport, so if your child is looking for something to be involved with this spring, encourage him to come out for tennis. The first practice will be on Tuesday, March 17 and there will be an information parent meeting March 18 at 4:15 pm in the media center.   Season expectations will be discussed and any questions you have will hopefully be answered.

There will also be an order form for a t-shirt at the meeting, which is part of the uniform. You will be required to provide your own navy shorts for games. Practices are typically Monday - Thursday from 3:00pm - 4:30pm, with Friday practice ending at 4pm. Mrs. Miedema will provide a detailed practice schedule to players.  A basic info sheet is available in the office.  If you have any questions prior to the parent meeting, Mrs. Miedema's email address is listed on the sheet as well.

Matches start at 4:00pm. They are usually over around 5:30, but can run until 6:00. This season, Mrs. Miedema is requesting that players stay for the entire match to support their teammates. If a player has a prior commitment and has to leave early, please have them talk to Mrs. Miedema on the day before the match.
