The National Honor Society (NHS) is the nation's premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. More than just an honor roll, NHS serve sto honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Character. These characteristics have been associated with membership in the organization since their beginnings in 1921.

National Honor Society is a special honor accorded to juniors or seniors who have earned a 3.25 or higher cumulative grade point average and also demonstrated exceptional qualities of leadership, character, and service to school and community. These criteria are set on a national level and our local chapter must abide by them.
